Selena Spencer

Selena Spencer is a dynamic International Speaker, Counselor, Ordained Minister, Mentor and author who is skilled in her delivery to her audience.

 

Selena is the Founder/CEO of Divine Purpose Community Services Inc.

This is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2005 which provides services and events for the entire family that feeds their Mind, Body and Soul!

 

Through this organization she has created a variety of events, seminars and workshops for youth, women, men & their families. During these events she provides inspirational and motivational teachings that give her audience the  tools they need to make the positive changes needed in their lives.

 

Selena is a graduate of York University in Toronto, Ontario Canada where she completed her BA in Political Science. She has also been on staff at York University for over 8 years in many different roles including supervisory and staff training.  She also joined the roster of speakers for Passages to Canada in 2014 where she spoke at public schools and other community groups on the topic of Black History.

 

Combined with her life experiences Selena has developed unique skills and knowledge which have allowed her to find effective ways to reach the community and help individuals. Her 20 years of hands on training in leadership and teaching have given her the ability to gain insight and expertise that spread across all nationalities and generations which is the reason why she is able to impact everyone that she comes in contact with in a positive way. This was publicly recognized in her front cover featured article of the Arts and Culture section of the Sacramento Magazine's February 2018 edition as well as at the 2014 Black Canadian Awards where she received a Certificate of Recognition as a Role Model.
